Dames and Daughters Series: Traci and Caitlin

“A daughter is a day brightener and a heart warmer.” – Author Unknown

     OK, I love that quote – I wish I could credit the genius who said it, but alas, it is “author unknown.”  Today we are excited to be starting a photo series featuring some of our mothers and daughters who shop with us. First up: meet Traci and Caitlin!

      Traci is one of the wittiest women we have ever met.  Her joie de vivre is the first thing one notices about her – and she keeps those lucky enough to be her friends in stitches.  She is also the wife to her husband Scott and a busy mom to Caitlin, Harrison, and Bailey.  

     Caitlin is in 8^th grade and plays volleyball for her school.  She also has a lovely singing voice that she uses to bless those in her church. She is setting quite a pace for her younger siblings! 

     Traci and Caitlin were so gracious to model for us in a fun photo shoot in Athens, Alabama.  Caitlin is wearing our Grey and Black Stripe Sweater and she looks comfy and chic (we are sold out online but have a few left in stores!) She paired it with her own jeans and boots to create a great cooler weather look. 

     Traci is wearing our Mocha Poncho with our winter white jeans and a pair of our booties (in store only).  We love pairing anything with winter white – so this is a great look, too! She topped off the outfit by accessorizing with some of our favorite jewelry items as well! 

We put Traci and Caitlin in the hot seat to answer a few questions so y'all could get to know them better!

If you had to eat a worm, how would you cook it?

    Traci: breaded and deep fried of course!

If you had to play one song continuously in the background of your everyday life what would it be?

     Caitlin: Scars to Your Beautiful by Alesia Cara 

Would you rather be really hairy or really bald?

    Traci: Bald... I can always add hair

What do you want to be when you grow up?

   Caitlin: I want to be a famous singer and travel on missions trips

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

    Traci: Australia

   Caitlin: LA

What is your favorite thing about you daughter?

    Traci: Caitlin has a heart for the Lord and loves serving Him through missions trips and service projects.  I also love to hear her sing.

What’s your favorite thing about your mom?

    Caitlin: My mom is funny and sacrifices a lot for me.
