Friday Favorites: Summer Edition (Jess)

Summer is officially here and we couldn't be happier about it! With all the lovely styles flying around sometimes it's hard to narrow down on some that you find flattering and cute. So. We've decided to start a series to help you get to know us (the founders) better. We'll be highlighting our favorite items we have in store and online.  This week you'll be hearing from me, (Jess) and here are my 3 favorite styles! 

1. Faded Tie Dye 

Having a wild and rambunctious 17-month-old boy makes it really tempting to wear not-so-fitted tees every day. (Can it still be considered a "baby belly" when they're over a year old? We're just going to pretend that's still okay). So, I'm constantly on the search for tees that are cute and comfy and I don't have to worry about wearing anything underneath. *Enter faded tie dye.* I l-o-v-e this trend. It dresses up a casual tee and makes it feel like you're not just wearing a t-shirt. You'll be seeing a lot of these around the shop in the weeks to come. I love searching out comfortable clothes that still let me look put-together! 2. Embroidered Details 

A trend that feels sort of retro to me but is coming back in full swing is embroidered details. I love details that are handmade and make an item really unique. We have a few to pick from so be sure to check these out!

3. Tiered Top 

Where are all my mama's at? I know you feel me when I say I really don't want anything fitted around my belly just yet. That's one reason I love the Tiered Top Trend so much! It's flattering on literally any body type and it does not look frumpy. We've got quite a few options on this one too. Probably because I'm a little biased. These tops are also crazy comfy and don't need a tank or anything to be worn under them, which I love because here in the south  the summer is HOT. The picture above I'm wearing our Add a Little Stripe Top. It's super lightweight so I love this one for the summer! 

The top on the left is our Oliver Tiered Top and the one on the right is our Art and Soul Top - this one is brand new! It just launched Thursday night.
